When I first met H, she was suffering with crippling anxiety.

She couldn’t sit still in the chair, and found it hard to answer even simple questions because she was worried she’d get it wrong.

I brought movement, shaking and breathing into those early sessions, to help her move through the anxiety.

In our sixth session yesterday, she was a different person.

She arrived with her journal, full of ideas and questions she’d made in preparation for our session.

As we worked through her goals, I was able to ask her challenging questions, knowing she could sit and reflect on them before giving a thoughtful answer full of new insights.

We spent the session preparing for an upcoming in-person sales meeting.

As we were finishing up, her phone rang – an unknown number, which she’d usually have ignored.

She answered it, and it was her potential (and dream) client.

She had the most positive, confident call with her, using some of the techniques we’d been discussing.

Whether that comes through in the way she hopes or not, she showed herself and me that she’s ready to fly the nest!
